It's been awhile...

I have not posted to the blog in over a year! Wow, I need to get on top of that!

A lot has happened with the Club in the last several years. Historically, WorldMark was developed by Trendwest Resorts which grew the product from a handful of Vacation Condo's to what it currently has become which is a network of over 65 properties, 5000 vacation condos, and over 270,000 Owners.

Not bad eh?

With the recent economic downturn there is no superior product to WorldMark in the entire Timeshare industry. WorldMark owns the units debt free, a term that is basically unheard of in the current business world and financial turmoil our country faces. The developer buys and/or builds and develops vacation condo's and then they sell people into the existing Vacation Club. Once they have sold the equivalent of new owners to what they have just developed, (say 1 owner per week times 50 weeks of the year (they do not sell all 52) means they can sell approximately 50 new owners per unit), then they hand over the deeds paid in full to WorldMark where they are held.

WorldMark is a not for profit Corporation that holds all of the deeds for the Condo units. The beautiful part about that, is in this economy that means that the club is debt free. Huge plus in a bad economic environment!
